Remember that little Dearborn AM that could?  This great website is dedicated to WKNR-AM and all those transistor radios around town that tuned in (including my old Allied Radio Shack "Flavor Radio" - it was purple). Packed with pics, memorabilia, and a bunch of actual air checks!  Keener 13 was once home to Detroit broadcasting legends Dick Purtan (WOMC), Frank Beckman (WJR), Eric Smith (WXYZ-TV), and the one and only "Uncle" Russ Gibb - the man who started the "Paul McCartney is dead" rumor.

The Detroit Kid-Show Web Page - A really cool website about all the Detroit kid shows on TV back in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.  Milky the Clown, Poopdeck Paul, Captain Jolly, Woodrow the Woodsman, Soupy Sales, Sagebrush Shorty, and more!  Has a neat section about Casey Casum's days on Detroit radio & TV.

A very informative web page about the history of Detroit Rock N Roll from 1966 - 1972.
